It was great to be part of the fundraising event held by Sobell House, My Lovely Postcards.
This was an exhibition and auction of over 400 postcard-sized artworks from over 180 artists in aid of Beth’s Bursary Fund, which supports palliative care in Oxford.
The exhibition took place during Oxfordshire Art Weeks 2023 at the beautiful Cloister Gallery at Saint John the Evangelist Church in Iffley, Oxford - where I was also exhibiting along with 3 other local artists.
Sobell House raised over £16,500 from this event - the top bid being £1,000 for an original artwork donated by Dame Judi Dench.
I couldn't compete with the celebrities but my lino print postcard entry still raised over £100 for the Sobell House.
